editor: This brings up the interesting question of hetero-normal VS gender balance when it comes to companions. It has been rare recently that we get a male companion who lasts, and is not the accessory of a female companion. However, there is something to be said about having a male(ish) and female(ish) perspective, especially since they shouldn’t necessarily have to deal with hetero-normal romantic tension.
At any rate, I am all about male companions, and all about homosocial bonding. So it’s a win-win for me! And if I may also say… phwoaaarrr!
